Description

This is a fantastic full set Rolex GMT Master Ref. 1675 from 1978. The original dial has gorgeous cream colored lume with matching cream colored original hands. The dial is in excellent condition and flanked by a beautifully faded original GMT bezel. The case on this watch is very strong with facets still intact. The watch comes on its original Rolex rivet oyster bracelet. It is so nice to find a watch like this in such wonderful condition and that also comes with its original box and papers. Great set!

THE GMT-MASTER 1955

The GMT-Master was developed to meet the specific needs of airline pilots. It became the official watch of several airlines, among them the famous Pan American World Airways, better known as Pan Am. Its most distinguishing visual feature was the two-tone bezel which marked daytime from nighttime hours.
