Rolex Explorer Ref. 1016 “Gilt Dial” from 1967. The Rolex Explorer is a classic model known for its robustness and simplicity and is a highly sought-after timepiece among collectors. Ref. 1016 is particularly iconic, having been in production for a long time and embodying the essence of the Explorer line. The good condition case and the original 7206 oyster rivet bracelet stamped 1/67 are essential for the value of the watch. The dial is all original and in very good condition, the glossy finishing is very well preserved. The lume is original both in hands and hour markers. The watch is powered by the self-winding movement cal. 1570 and accompanied by box, original punched papers and certificate of chronometer.
