Description

Yellow gold Rolex Day Date ref. 18028 from 1986. This Rolex Day-Date features a rare configuration with an attractive smooth bezel. The watch is unpolished and in very good condition. The bracelet has very little stretch. The dial is perfect and all the luminous plots are clearly visible. Full set with box, wallet, and original papers dated July 1988. This rare example represents an exceptional addition to any Rolex collection. The uncommon smooth bezel, combined with its well-preserved state and complete set of accessories, makes it a particularly desirable piece for collectors and enthusiasts.

THE DAY-DATE 1956

In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial.
