Description
A fine and innovative example of the Calatrava reference 3569, introduced in 1969 and produced until 1986. This model stands out for its distinctive backwind mechanism and the use of a peripheral rotor, allowing for an impressively slim automatic case design. Crafted in solid 18K gold, the watch features a striking 36mm hand-hammered case—an artisanal detail rarely seen—paired beautifully with a deep blue dial adorned with white enamel markers and matching hands. The result is a watch of remarkable elegance and visual appeal. In very good overall condition, the case remains thick with well-preserved angles and a clearly visible hallmark. The dial is superbly maintained, showing only minimal signs of age. Powered by the self-winding Caliber 350, it comes fitted with a leather strap. An Extract from the Archives has been requested to confirm its provenance. A distinctive and refined addition to any curated collection.
