Description

This is a classic Rolex Day-Date reference 18238 in 18k yellow gold. The original black Onyx dial with gilt writing make this watch especially collectible. Aside from the perfect black Onyx dial with no cracks nor hairlines, the case on this watch is strong. The deep hallmarks behind the lugs are fully visible. The watch comes on its Rolex 18kt yellow gold Presidential bracelet and also has its original Rolex guarantee papers.

In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial.
