The Rolex Day-Date is an all-time classic and perhaps the most recognizable and iconic Rolex watch. Upon a close look, however, this Rolex Day-Date 1807 has a few subtle differences that make it very special. Most noticeable is on the dial at six oclock - the red Khanjar or Emblem of Oman. The watch also features an original factory bark finish on the bezel and bracelet, giving it a slightly different feel than the standard 1807. Turning the watch over, the viewer notices the engraving Asprey from the London retailer that is among the most highly sought after of the double signed watches. This Day-Date is in excellent condition with a clean dial, original condition case which shows mild signs of wear. The bracelet shows stretch.

THE DAY-DATEĀ 1956

In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial. With the President bracelet, originally created specially for it, the Day-Date continues to be the watch par excellence of influential people.

LEADERSHIP

Rolex watches have long been associated with those who have, over time, guided the destiny of the world. No matter their vision, their domain of excellence, or their achievements, the one thing these exceptional men and women have in common is often their watch: the Day-Date.
