Description

Steel case on leather strap, beautiful "Glossy" "Gilt" "Chapter ring" "Swiss" black dial, plexiglass, screw-in crown, automatic movement, caliber 1560. The Rolex Explorer was launched in 1953. The 1016, launched in 1959, was the first Explorer to be marked "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" on the dial. At the beginning of the production, the dials were glossy with "gilt" printings like the exceptional example we are selling.
