An absolute magical and ultra-rare Rolex Day-Date 18348 from the exclusive Rolex Crown Collection, a special and very limited selection of watches offered by Rolex just to VIP clients in the 90s. To our knowledge only 4 examples have surfaced the market in the past 10 years. The standout feature? Its unparalleled ‘Coral Pyramid Dial’ where the dial’s surface is shaped with a pyramid motifs and diamond indexes. It’s incredible how the pyramid pattern is visible at an angle while it looks like a plain dial when looking at it straight. It’s still a mystery how Rolex was able to have this dial made the way it is. The watch is in absolute mint condition with the gold having patina’d to a rosy hue. To give this watch a very glamorous look it is fitted with a bracelet with a diamond center links. This watch is accompanied by its original certificate mentioning its unique Serti Dial. While other examples remain a mystery, this stands as the sole publicly known piece. A true gem and masterpiece among collectors.
