Description

Tritium 14060 The 14060 is the first version of the No Date Submariner with upgraded movement, case and Sapphire crystal. It is the successor of the all time iconic 5513. The early 14060 were made with Tritium dials, which a very sought after by purists and later ones have Luminova dials. We feel that the 14060 is one of the last great Submariners given it still has the iconic shaped case and small lume plots as opposed to the newer Maxi dials. This watch is a great entry into the classic Rolex world and yet very contemporary. If you are looking for one watch to go with every occasion, this is the one. This 14060 Submariner is very well preserved with a strong case and an immaculate 2–liner  tritium dial. The watch comes  with Original Punched Warranty Certificate and is ready to go on the wrist.

The Rolex Submariner

The Rolex Submariner is without a doubt one of the most successful Rolex models in history. Not only because it more than aptly served its purpose as diver’s watch, although I am pretty sure only a small number of Submariners has ever seen a spat of water. Its appearance in several James Bond movies certainly helped as well. If you omit functionality and marketing, the Submariner success is mainly due to its elegance as a timeless dress watch. It’s just one of those watches you keep looking at, regardless of wanting to know the time of day. The Submariner was launched in 1953 and officially presented at the Basel Fair in 1954.
