Description
From Japan - It is a thing in the collecting community that when a watch from japan shows up everyone is all ears. The Japanese, and this is a big compliment here, are known to treat their belongings, in this case their watches in absolute pristine condition. Further they are also known for only buying grail condition watches. Well, how can we say it better, we have got a piece which will be evident for what we just said. Here's a very handsome and well retained Rolex Datejust 16234 with white gold bezel and insanely nice Blue Vignette Diamond dial. The case and bezel are sharp and crisp, showing beautiful factory finish. The bracelet which is fully linked is only showing very light stretch from age and not much visible wear. The winner is the Blue Vignette diamond dial which has beautiful aesthetics with the degrading blue color, accentuated with the diamond markers. Its a watch you don't need to loupe, you just look at it and know that everything is good. Well if that was not already enough, this watch comes with everything you can imagine, Rolex Warranty Certificate, RCS card, manuals, booklets, some additional papers, inner and outer stickered box. Its one of those watches that only come across every now and then. A killer watch to begin with but in an insanely nice full set.

The year 1945 saw the birth of the Datejust, the first self‑winding wrist chronometer to indicate the date in a window on the dial. A watch of great distinction, the Datejust was equipped with a Jubilee bracelet created specially for it and a fluted bezel, making it immediately recognisable as a Rolex. It is the pillar of the Oyster collection. Initially for men, it became available in various models for women in the course of the following decade.
