The Eye of the Tiger      -      A very attractive example of a Rolex Datejust in 18K in the classic 26mm Ladies size. The watch dates back to 1988 and  is in an unbelievable unworn condition still bearing the original green case back sticker. What makes this watch even more interesting apart from the incredible condition is the original factory Tiger Eye hard stone dial. This natural stone shows yellow gold and brown toned bands across the dial, every dial is a unique piece. The piece of stone is carefully selected by Rolex to give it a symmetric and hormonious balanced look. The gilt graphics on the dial are minimalistic so there is no distration from the beauty of the dial itself. The Tiger Eye dial on Rolex watches has become extremely sought after and hard to find. That's why we are even more excited to offer this watch in brand new and unworn condition

THE FIRST DATEJUST 1945

The year 1945 saw the birth of the Datejust, the first self‑winding wrist chronometer to indicate the date in a window on the dial. A watch of great distinction, the Datejust was equipped with a Jubilee bracelet created specially for it and a fluted bezel, making it immediately recognisable as a Rolex. It is the pillar of the Oyster collection. Initially for men, it became available in various models for women in the course of the following decade.
