Description

1802 Ghost The watch offered is a beautiful and rare 1802 Day Date in yellow gold with smooth bezel. The majority of 4 digit references bear fluted bezels among some Bark and Moire bezels and some are diamond set. The smooth bezel causes a very sleek and elegant look, especially when paired with a Rivited Oyster bracelet. The dial is a Taupe color dial with matte finish and white print. The white print, in some light environments disappears, giving a Ghost look as if there is no print on the dial. This is becoming more and more popular. The watch is beautiful and in great condition, a configuration you wont come across very soon again.

THE DAY-DATEĀ 1956

In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial. With the President bracelet, originally created specially for it, the Day-Date continues to be the watch par excellence of influential people.

LEADERSHIP

Rolex watches have long been associated with those who have, over time, guided the destiny of the world. No matter their vision, their domain of excellence, or their achievements, the one thing these exceptional men and women have in common is often their watch: the Day-Date.
