Fourteen carat - This very romantic Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date in 14K gold was manufactured in 1966 for the American Market and is retained in a beautiful vintage condition. Making the case in 14K was a thing in those days to avoid high import taxes on gold, hence the very special and rare woven bracelet was manufactured in the United States. The dial is a mesmerizing grey/ anthrazite dial which nicely suits the very yellow gold color of the case. The dial is super clean and still retains the luminous dots and original hands. The bracelet is a stunner, a very rare woven bracelet shaping around the wrist like a second skin. It was made by JB Champion, one of the most famous bracelet makers in the US. Without breaking the budget, this watch is a feast on the wrist and will turn heads as they hardly ever come in this rare configuration
