Description
PATEK PHILIPPE GOLDEN ELLIPSE 3619 WHITE GOLD WITH BRACELET The Patek Philippe Reference 3619, introduced circa 1977, is a rare and unconventional dual-time wristwatch that reflects the daring spirit of the 1970s. Its generously sized 38mm horizontal cushion-shaped case, reminiscent of the Beta 21, makes it stand out among traditional designs. The manually wound Caliber 27-HS400 powers the watch, allowing the simultaneous display of two time zones. Some collectors speculate that the legendary Louis Cottier may have been involved in its creation for Patek, though no definitive proof exists. With only around 32 pieces produced in a handful of variations, this model remains an exclusive and sophisticated collector’s item. The present watch is a perfect example of the Patek Philippe Reference 3619. Produced in only a few dozen units, finding one so well-preserved is truly remarkable. This 3619 features a black oxidized dial with three diamond indexes, as confirmed by the Extract. A distinctive detail is the additional hour hand with luminous material, allowing for easy differentiation between time zones. The most striking and rare aspect of this 3619 is its matching integrated white gold bracelet—an extremely scarce feature that greatly enhances its exclusivity and collectability. Powered by the Caliber 27-HS400, the watch seamlessly displays two time zones. Its overall condition is exceptional: the case is untouched, the dial is mint, the movement functions perfectly, and the bracelet remains in like-new condition. The watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives. 38mm diameter, Year 1975, Serial Number 2,757,XXX.
