Rolex 1665 Perfect Double Red Sea Dweller Mk3 Dial

Year 1972

Dial Original Double Red MK3 dial in mint condition. Heavy creamy patina on the dial with original matching hands. killer dial with razor sharp text and bright double red sea-dweller.

Movement Rolex 1575

Case Original case has been expertly detailed to near factory specs and looks fantastic. The lugs are super sharp and thick with amazing edges.  Original ghost fat font bezel insert.

Bracelet Comes on an folded Rolex oyster bracelet 9315/380 with very minimal stretch.

Comments This is an overall fantastic Double Red Sea Dweller with great patina and super case. A great watch to wear daily or to add to any serious collection.

THE SEA-DWELLER 1967

1967 saw the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, waterproof to a depth of 610 metres. To meet the needs of professional deep-sea divers, the case was equipped with a helium escape valve so that, during long decompression phases in hyperbaric chambers, the helium from the gas mixtures used could be released without risking damage to the watch. SEA-DWELLER 4000 - 1978

Rolex launched the Sea-Dweller 4000, waterproof to a depth of 1,220 metres (4,000 feet).
