Description
Patek Philippe 18K yellow gold ref. 1450, made in 1949 and sold in 1950. The “Top Hat” ref. 1450 was one of the most elegant and iconic references made in the mid-20th century. Produced from 1940 through the end of the 1950s, this reference was offered in yellow gold, white gold, pink gold and platinum. The cases were made by Markowsky, indicated by master key mark 8 seen on the inside of his works, the same maker of the famous Patek Philippe “Eiffel Tower” and “Banana” as well as a myriad of other innovative cases.
