Description

UAE Armed Forces       - From all the UAE logo dials, the Armed Forces dial bears the best aesthetics, well at least we think so. The notable size, colors and motif are just right, the Eagle and 7 stars standing for the 7 Emirates of the UAE, it is so well done. There are four dials colors on a 18038 which bear this logo, Champagne, Silver, Brown and the more elusive and rare White one. While most of the few which are around have a Champagne or Silver dial, the white one is the much rarer and also more beautiful version. The dial is housed in a 1978 single quick 18038 reference and fitted to a green Camille Fournet Alligator strap. The Arabic calendar discs round it up perfectly.

THE DAY-DATE 1956

In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial. With the President bracelet, originally created specially for it, the Day-Date continues to be the watch par excellence of influential people.

LEADERSHIP

Rolex watches have long been associated with those who have, over time, guided the destiny of the world. No matter their vision, their domain of excellence, or their achievements, the one thing these exceptional men and women have in common is often their watch: the Day-Date.
