Description

Double Red       - this stunning Rolex Sea Dweller 1665 from 1975 is coming right from the first owner in Saudi Arabia. The watch was passed down in the family and found its way to Momentum. When we saw this, we couldn’t say No. This mint condition Double Red Sea Dweller has it all. The case is super strong and shows off beautiful factory bevels on the lugs. The case is well defined and has only been lightly polished presumably by Rolex. The bezel is sharp and the insert has aged to a stunning gun metal grey with a blueish hue. The impeccable MK4 dial is the star of the show. The surface is flawless and bears perfect lume plots which have aged to a vivid yellow color. The hands are matching and original. The colors on this watch are amazing, the blueish insert, the yellow lume plots and the red text on the dial make this so much fun on the wrist. A great Double Red, one we haven't seen in a while

THE SEA-DWELLER 1967

1967 saw the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, waterproof to a depth of 610 metres. To meet the needs of professional deep-sea divers, the case was equipped with a helium escape valve so that, during long decompression phases in hyperbaric chambers, the helium from the gas mixtures used could be released without risking damage to the watch. SEA-DWELLER 4000 - 1978

Rolex launched the Sea-Dweller 4000, waterproof to a depth of 1,220 metres (4,000 feet).
