Description

Bordeaux Stella - Or better Oxblood as the common name for this color. The Oxblood is considered the entry range for Stella dials due to the darker and more subtle color but in reality the color is amazing. The very rich Burgundy color exudes elegance which is enhanced by the relief shape of the dial at the edge and calendar windows. The color beautifully contrast with the case and gilt graphics and is indeed very classy. The calendar discs have aged to a very warm cream color and contract really well with the dial. Since this watch does not come with a bracelet, we have paired it with a Taupe calf leather strap which really pronounces the dial. A very elegant example for every day.

THE DAY-DATEĀ 1956

In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial. With the President bracelet, originally created specially for it, the Day-Date continues to be the watch par excellence of influential people.

LEADERSHIP

Rolex watches have long been associated with those who have, over time, guided the destiny of the world. No matter their vision, their domain of excellence, or their achievements, the one thing these exceptional men and women have in common is often their watch: the Day-Date.
