An early GMT ref. #16710 in gorgeous unpolished condition with a black and red “Coke” bezel and accompanied by the original warranty paper. This modern/vintage watch is in a category that is rapidly increasing in popularity. In person, the hands and markers have a soft rich patina that increases the allure of the watch overall. THE GMT-MASTER 1955

The GMT-Master was developed to meet the specific needs of airline pilots. It became the official watch of several airlines, among them the famous Pan American World Airways, better known as Pan Am. Its most distinguishing visual feature was the two-tone bezel which marked daytime from nighttime hours.
